Our divine femininity is at threat.

We live in a society that puts a significant amount of pressure on women. The pressure to be, to do and to achieve and to climb the corporate ladder and tap into the more aggressive side of who you are.

After all, it is thought that you cannot achieve and be who you if you aren’t as aggressive. It is thought you cannot be fulfilled without all these materialistic things. You cannot be fulfilled without your career.

It’s as if you are doomed to failure if you can never be like a man. As I write this, I feel this burden heavy on us as women. It’s as if when you are in touch with your femininity you are looked at as less than.

Slowly women are realising that all these these things cannot fill the void that they are feeling within. The need to be soft. The need to be a woman.

We live in such a masculine world. And as beautiful as masculine energy is. It serves its purpose in different spaces. It’s so easy for us as women to fall into the trap of seeing this as the default to pain. The default to failed relationships. The default to success. The default to live in general because when you live in a cruel world like this. Vulnerability is the last thing we think can be our strength.

Today I wanted to write this blog post to remind you that the divine feminine is soft, supporting and loving. I wanted to remind you that if you feel out of place 99% of the time. Don’t back down on your femininity. Your femininity can exist by being fierce. How you handle your pain during your monthly cycle? How woman give birth? How we love despite pain? Yes we are soft but we are equally fierce.

And this divine feminine energy is needed in this cold and masculine world. We as the world need spiritual qualities such as receptivity, patience, the ability to lend an ear to hear and the ability to feel deeply.

And that’s beautiful. And that’s incredible. And that’s admirable.

I leave you with this scripture in 1 Peter 3:4 that speaks on the beauty that is found in a woman:

but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.

I place emphasis on the gentle and quiet spirit. Your femininity is beautiful.

Stay blessed.
