What are you thinking of?

I don’t know about you but 2021 has been the toughest year of my life. More often than not. I found myself focusing on the negative aspects of my life.

What was wrong? How work was too much. How life was too much and how everything that had to fall apart fell apart. I love the word intentionality. It’s about doing things deliberately and purposely.

During the toughtest times I’ve had to learn to renew my mind. This requires alot from you. The easiest way is to journal your thoughts but quite recently I’ve heard about a newer way to renew your mind.

A gratitude jar.

A gratitude jar is a visual way of seeing the blessings in our lives. You can literally get any jar and start writing down what you are grateful for each day or week.

It’s so easy to focus on what’s going wrong that I believe this could challenge us to think of everything that went right or is going right. Remember we are living in answered prayers.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.

Philippians 4:8
