Be still.

Be at peace.

Take the steps towards leading a quiet life.

We live in a society that encourages being busy.

We live in a society that pushes for ambition.

I’m slowly learning how not all ambition is good ambition and Gods ambition may go slower than the pace of the world.

We are called to be set apart. A royal priesthood and part of that may mean pausing and asking:

What’s my purpose and what’s the pace that I should be walking in to reach my destiny?

Sometimes that pace might be slow.

But that’s okay because it is in the stillness that we can hear the next step that we should take. It’s always important to walk in the rhythms of Gods grace.

So anytime the spirit of hustle culture takes over you. I would like to encourage you with the scripture

1 Thessalonians 4:11

“and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you,”

And just as you can see from the above-

Ambition is good but godly ambition rests on wanting to lead a quiet life.

Sometimes fame and hustling is what defines good ambition in society. But that may not be godly ambition.

Remember that when you become dissatisfied with the pace your life may be going and the hustle culture takes over you.

Stay blessed.
